The History | Thornton River Orchard

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on scenic Route 211, Thornton River Orchard is one mile west of Sperryville, Virginia, and just a few miles down the mountain from the east entrance to Shenandoah National Park at Thornton Gap. The Jenkins family has owned and operated the orchard since 2001. Before then, generations of farmers grew apples here.
