A Change of Art: Online art class with Juliette Crane
http://jeanfwagner.blogspot.com/2013/09/online-art-class-with-juliette-crane.html
Monday, September 23, 2013. Online art class with Juliette Crane. I always have at least one going. I learn so much from watching others paint and from the collaboration that comes with online art classes. Each class has its own Facebook private group, a photo gallery where students post their work for comments (always positive! And discussion forums. And then there are the weekly lessons. Just for kicks I'll show you what my collaged page started out like. And this is what came of that:. How to Live Life.

3 + 2 = ONE: Remembering Kenya
http://trektoethiopia.blogspot.com/2012/08/remembering-kenya.html
3 2 = ONE. Wednesday, August 08, 2012. I long to see them again. I was last in Kenya in 2006, and it's been far too long. I wish I had more time to write because I'd love to share some stories from my time there. Instead I'll leave you with some photos and a sweet email. The little girl below in the blue dress is Jayne. She's one I recently sent photos to. I got this email response today:. Wow thanks a million. am surprised! I was that tiny? Truly may God forever bless you all for you ever did for us!

A Change of Art: A Commission!
http://jeanfwagner.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-commission.html
Monday, September 23, 2013. Nothing like a commission to make an artist feel like an artist. This was a fun one because I was able to see the space where it was going to go, talk with the client about color choices and her vision. It helps that she likes my work so it was so rewarding to work for her. It is a large painting. 48 x 60" which is bigger than anything I have done before. My first challenge was finding a place to paint! Limited edition reproductions are in my Etsy shop. Visit My Etsy Shop.

http://jeanfwagner.blogspot.com/2013/08/prolifically-painting-these-days.html
Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Prolifically Painting these days! Since the weather has settled down into the 70's, my art room is a joyful place to be. The windows are wide open, the maple tree reaches almost to the house now. I could sit here all day. I have set some goals for my art. My 2013 goal was to submit work to Stampington and Co. magazines to try to get published. I did it! Just this week, I sent 3 pieces in. Now it is up to them, but I met my goal. And lastly, I have been prolific lately! Recently,...

A Change of Art: Recent Work
http://jeanfwagner.blogspot.com/2013/07/recent-work.html
Monday, July 29, 2013. Though summer is a busy time, I still love to hideaway in my sunny studio room. I've continued to try out new skills and materials. My latest favorite art supply are the new Montana markers. These little jewels are a paint pin filled with acrylic paint. I've bought some of the fine tips (my favorite) and the extra fine. LOVE THESE PENS for details and doodles. They even have empty ones that you can fill and refill yourself AND replaceable tips. These will be my go-to markers. Your ...

May be difficult to tell, but the tire is on the OUTSIDE of the hubcap in places. Here’s a better look:. The chips in a hubcap were a first for me. How do you get chips in hubcaps?
