Staying put in the Burro Bridge Campground is healthy, both for finances and physical health. Long walks, not much driving, and nowhere to spend money. I spent the entertainment funds on a great lunch (cod and home made chips) and an indoor/outdoor thermometer. Most mornings, according to the new thermometer, are 38 degrees. Yes. It is cold at this altitude. July 10- August 10, 2015 Budget.

No dump station. So, there are lots of hikers with tents, anglers with pop up trailers, and cars with tarps. Nothing fancy comes this far up. Perfect for someone like me. We just had two relatively nice days with soft sustained winds of about 10 – 15 mph (guessing) but the winds have come back to the point it is impossible to work outside for very long.
