Life is stranger than fiction. Tuesday, December 25, 2012. It was a good day! Today we woke up and opened our presents! Well, we didn't really open them. we didn't wrap anything. we are practical like that! Wrapping paper is creepy anyway. Chell and I finished our Gingerbread project! Drunk Babies. What's wrong with that? Then it was time to be grown ups and start making Christmas dinner. We had guests coming over after all. Let's get this party started! Over coffee and dessert the conversation turned.

Life is stranger than fiction. Thursday, January 1, 2015. Yesterday I was asked if I had updated my blog lately. I won't say who asked, but here is a hint. I obviously haven't added any new thoughts lately. So let's see if I can be more diligent in my musings. What I want for 2015. Just kidding, world peace is not happening in my life time, or your kids. Or your kids kids. Actually life is pretty good. I got a great woman! She keeps me happy, sober and I know that I am loved every moment of every day.

Life is stranger than fiction. Sunday, January 4, 2015. Living in a 24 hour town, I am lucky to have a Monday through Friday, 8-4:30 job. That being said. It's Sunday night and this is how I feel. I love my weekends. Hanging with my girl, sleeping in, reading, baking. Sometimes even playing tourist. Anything and everything that doesn't include commuting, data entry or waking up early! Even pathetically cute kittens can't help. I won't lie. coffee does help. What did you expect 'Downtown Abbey?

Life is stranger than fiction. Saturday, January 3, 2015. Today's theme on Facebook seems to be snow fun. Family and friends out there enjoying the slopes and sledding hills. I would be jealous, except it has been unseasonably cold in Vegas and I remember every time I step outside I hate the cold! Sure flying down frozen landscapes looks fun, for a moment. then I flashback to the winter months of most of my life. How happy am I that I don't own a snow shovel? No more commuting with this guy on the road.
