I squirm, and wiggle, and complain. It’s because you are drawing me deeper….refining me. I’m okay with that. Really. I want to be purified, with all of the bad or ugly or broken stuff coming to the top for you to skim off. It’s just not very comfortable. I’ll keep at it, keep trusting you. I want to be closer to you, your heart.

Start to reread in my notebook the verses God gave me through this. It’s just one thing. So critical….worship. And then… another tumor was detected in her brain and small tumors at all levels of Laura’s spine. Such is the course for Neurofibromatosis Type 2. According to the doctors, there is really only one option for Laura: surgery. But we believe…. In God’s restoring power… Why should we doubt His power and love?
