Grace Filled Living: Homeschooling
http://trustinghishand.blogspot.com/p/homeschooling.html
How I love homeschooling! Let me count the ways! Seriously though, we are so blessed to be a homeschool family. As a single parent, I'm fortunate to be able to remain home to teach my kids. They are the most important job I will ever have. We've homeschooled since the very beginning. I went to my first homeschool convention when my son was two. Our journey began. Always something new. Always something challenging us. Fit us like a glove. And then there are books. I love. As we are able to find and afford.

http://trinabambina.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

I mean, don't get me wrong, having beautiful jars filled with dried food is wonderful, but this ad nauseum daily posting is taking all the fun out of it for me! So here you go:. Quite awhile ago, we did Sweet Potato Chips. Oh, and did we mention plantains? http://hayase.blogspot.com/2013/12/year-end-rambles-part-1.html
Monday, December 30, 2013. Year End Rambles, Part 1. My year end rambles didn't make it in time for our Christmas card this year, so here's my ode to 2013! God surprised us with blessings around every corner. He graced us with strength for every trial and provision for every need. Our cups overflow with gratitude. Jonathan turned 16 this year. Friends ask, "Are you getting your driver's license? To which he replies, "Nah, I don't trust myself." Finally, we agree on something! We are grateful for the oppo...

Soli Deo Gloria: Happy New Year!
http://hayase.blogspot.com/2014/01/happy-new-year.html
Wednesday, January 01, 2014. We enjoyed our traditional first meal of the year. Ozoni! This year, I'm following the Bible Reading Plan for Shirkers and Slackers. I made it through other reading plans, but this one seems to be a good fit for this coming year. It combines structure with flexibility, discipline with grace. My kids are following the same plan. Will you join us? If you're interested, here's. I loved this post by John Piper, and I am taking it to heart:. A New Year's Plea: Plan!

http://hayase.blogspot.com/2013/11/pastor-tony-man-who-exalts-god.html
Sunday, November 10, 2013. Pastor Tony: A Man Who Exalts God. Pastor Tony and his beautiful wife, Julee. Today is our beloved Pastor Tony's birthday. I won't say which one, but it is a Big One. :-). We have been gathering thoughts from everyone on how he has impacted their lives. This is what I wrote:. When I watch Tony in action, I can almost read the questions running through his mind:. How will this exalt Christ? How should we love people? How can we grow in wisdom? How can I make the truth clear?

Sunday, December 29, 2013. Jesus Christ the Apple Tree. King's College Choir. Sublime lyrics and performance. Ignore the banner that pops up briefly.it will disappear). Jesus Christ the Apple Tree. The tree of life my soul hath seen. Laden with fruit and always green. The tree of life my soul hath seen. Laden with fruit and always green. The trees of nature fruitless be. Compared with Christ the apple tree. His beauty doth all things excel. By faith I know but ne'er can tell. The glory which I now can see.
