aDiNG's Memo: April 2014
http://adeeng.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Hanyalah seorang penyuka IT dan bukan siapa-siapa. Kamis, April 03, 2014.

This is our land. June 3, 2010. Below is my proposal for a theme and manifesto for Barcamp Cameroon 2010 to be held in Yaounde on 12th of June 2010. In the first Barcamp Cameroon ( Digital Dreams. I made a bold statement. I said Cameroonians had stopped dreaming. You should have been there to see what I saw. I saw passion in one of its purest forms. I saw cool stuff people had started working on. I saw people with dormant talent suddenly waking up from slumber. Are these irreversibly broken? Barcamps are...

Conversation between Fritz and Fee on iYam.mobi | I am Fee
https://ekwogefee.wordpress.com/2010/05/26/on-iyam
Conversation between Fritz and Fee on iYam.mobi. May 26, 2010. Update: iyam.mobi has changed a lot over the years. Our initial vision of creating an SMS AppStore and a universal phonebook didn’t work out commercially. We pivoted iyam.mobi into a commercially successful bulk SMS platform. I’m keeping this conversation online to reflect my thought process at the time. Plus, I really liked the humor in this post. So this is one of those bizarre moments when you talk to yourself, huh? I guess it is. Fritz, c...

June 3, 2010. Below is the manifesto for the theme “Digital Dreams” I proposed for Barcamp Cameroon in 2009. We no more dream of innovating, because we believe innovation does not pay in this country. It might, in certain extreme cases, lead one to jail. We don’t even dream of playing catch-up with existing technology though proven benefits have been derived in other parts of the world. Some of us have not even started dreaming yet, because we are ignorant of what ICT can do. Fritz Ekwoge Ekwoge aka Fee.

For Africa or From Africa. November 12, 2014. This is a written version of the talk I, Fritz Ekwoge (representing FeePerfect), gave for the 9ideas conference that took place on the 30th of March 2013 in Douala/Cameroon. Should African entrepreneurs build products for the African market or for the global market? I’ve spent three years running a Cameroonian start-up. Carving my niche with B2C products for the African market. This is what I have to say:. It had not always sucked. But right now it does.

Why Feem? | I am Fee
https://ekwogefee.wordpress.com/2014/11/12/why-feem
November 12, 2014. We created Feem out of frustration transferring files within our local networks. Free yourself from pain. Try Feem. I am Fritz Ekwoge ( @ekwogefee. As the founder of FeePerfect, I am expected to answer the question, “Why Feem? 8221;, in order to convince you to try out one of our most promising software release yet. The answer is almost simplistic in its assertion; yet it holds a lot of truth. We, like most other human beings on this planet, HATE PAIN. Poor usability (Bluetooth) and,.

The Death of USB Sticks. | I am Fee
https://ekwogefee.wordpress.com/2014/11/12/the-death-of-usb-sticks
The Death of USB Sticks. November 12, 2014. USB sticks are getting extinct. The trend is hard to ignore. Wi-Fi is slowly taking over USB sticks. A long long time ago, mankind used floppy disks to exchange data from one computer to another computer. All was well at the time, since we only needed to transfer small bits of data from one machine to another; a task well within the capactity of a single floppy disk. There was just one area where USB sticks sucked hard. Frequency of data transfers. USB sticks h...
