The school was first housed at the Seventh Day Adventist Primary School at Rockley Vale, Tobago with twelve students. Thanks to the foresight and initiative of Wilfred DesVignes, Principal who allowed the use of this school because of the opportunity that would be opened up to Tobagonians. The Tobago Community College is committed to preparing the citizens of Tobago to fulfill their responsibility and discharge their duty in a participatory democracy with people as its focal emphasis.
