Eye, Ear, Nose, Throat. Barton's fracture is the intra-articular fracture of distal radius resulting from shearing force. It can be classified as dorsal or volar depending upon location of fragment. The diagnosis can be made by clinical presentation and radiologic evidence. The fracture is treated by closed reduction and the forearm is immobilized in a cast for 6 weeks.
