The Jones Family: Traveling to Ethiopia
http://leslie-joneslife.blogspot.com/2011/11/traveling-to-ethiopia.html
Sunday, November 13, 2011. On our way to Addis Ababa we had an eleven hour layover in London, England. We decided to take the "tube" which was a 40 minute train ride into Central London for some sight seeing. After a couple of hours in the city we decided we had better head back to the airport. We were super anxious about our flight leaving at 9 pm for Ethiopia! Waiting at the airport to board our flight. At this point we had already traveled over 30 hours.and I think it shows. The Jones Family: June 2011
http://leslie-joneslife.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Sure all the bright lights and towering buildings were pretty cool, but, my favorite place in NYC was Central Park! It is amazing how you no longer feel like you were in a city at all. You could tell how much everyone appreciated having it too. New York is a very active city and it was interesting to see so many people there just winding down. Sure some were exercising, but most people had picked a nice spot on a grassy area with their blanket and books or newspapers. This past we...

The Jones Family: May 2011
http://leslie-joneslife.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2011. The constant change of emotions through all of this. It's hard. I have to pray a lot that I won't be overwhelmed by the anxiousness I have-to meet my children. I have to pray not to worry so much, that God will take care of them. Reminded me that our hope should be in Him. That even when things seem out of control (or out of MY control), HE has it under control. I hope these can help others who are waiting on whatever that may be. :). Tuesday, May 24, 2011. It appears as though t...

The Jones Family: August 2011
http://leslie-joneslife.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. I had been checking every month with my agency to find out how much weight Silas had gained. As of late June, I knew he had gained almost 9 full pounds.doubling his body weight. I knew this was amazing, but it was nothing compared to seeing Silas' amazing transformation in his latest pictures from this month. I am proud to say this boy has some fat rolls now! I just can't wait to hold these babies in October! And I can't wait to be able to show their sweet faces! Like I said befo...

The Jones Family: July 2011

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Roasted Tomato and Red Pepper Soup. As I have said before.I love cooking! As I posted before, we started our first garden this summer! I must say, it has been very successful. I have picked several cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, and heads of lettuce. Right now I have an abundance of tomatoes. So I decided to make a roasted red pepper and tomato soup. I found this recipe. And pretty much went with it with a few adjustments for portion size, preparation, etc. This is what I did:. By th...

The Jones Family: Our Adoption
http://leslie-joneslife.blogspot.com/2010/12/our-adoption_17.html
Friday, December 17, 2010. Adopting a child was somewhere in the back of my mind when I was younger. I thought I would like to do that someday, but I wonder now if at the time if I really believed I would do that one day. Or would I would marry a man who longed for the same thing? Again, this was just a thought I had once that was tucked away while I pursued life as I wanted to. Little did I know a seed had been planted that God had plans for. Our Adoption-How it Began.
