Handmade By Heather B. Sewing with the Pattern Stash - The Planned Project, Advance 9441. Oh hello, just standing around being fabulous. Avid readers of Gertie's blog may remember that she made this pattern in 2010. Out of some lovely lemon print cotton. Droooool lemon print cotton. I would have happily swiped that dress from her closet, but I was equally taken with the fashion illustration for this pattern. Does the brunette look like Audrey Hepburn or what? This pattern needs to be mine! Great store BT...

My Maxi Chardon Skirt - C Sews
http://csews.com/skirts/maxi-chardon-skirt
Sewing, fabric, fashion, hats and making lovely things with a needle and thread. Lace Tutorials and Info. February 16, 2015. My Maxi Chardon Skirt. Do you like maxi skirts? This is the first one I’ve made. I used Deer and Doe’s Chardon skirt. Pattern, which is knee-length, but I made it into a maxi length so I could show off this great wax print, which I got from Britex Fabrics. It’s a medium weight cotton that has a bit of stiffness to it but that works well with this pattern. Dec 31, 2014 at 11:58am PST.

Dedicated to creative pursuits. Sewing for the Life You Want. September 13, 2012. There has been a lot of talk around the blogosphere about sewing cake vs. frosting. Go to a fancy dinner so you can wear your fancy pants...

Somebody Else’s Handmade Dress (II). February 17, 2014 · 10:06 pm. The Coat. Yes, I added lacing at the back. I’m kinda torn. I almost don’t want to post about this at all, and wait until spring when I can get better photos. But I’m also afraid if I do that it just won’t happen. And I’m impatient.
