I previously owned a Jeep CJ-7, and while it was a capable off-road vehicle, I wanted something different. I had already sold the CJ and bought a pair of Jeepster Commandos. With the intent of building one for rockcrawling. Shortly after I bought the Commandos though I moved to Venezuela. I liked that Samurais are cheap and easy to modify, but they are really. Have been solved with a new headgasket or head, but what fun is that? I decided to dive into a full-on rebuild with stronger, more powerful parts. The initial disassembly has been done at Mike Fox. Forged .040 Over Pistons with a 8.5:1 Compression Ratio. T3/T4 Turbo with Ball Bearing Center Section. Turbonetics "Log" Style Exhaust Manifold. Coatings on the Piston Skirts and Domes, Turbo Housing, and Manifold. 370 cc/min Injectors from RC Engineering. Late Model Intake Plenum. 3 Stainless Steel Exhaust.
