Sunday, August 24, 2014. Our friends the Geisheimers asked us to go camping at Yosemite with them 6 months ago and the trip finally happened! They took it upon themselves to go to the trouble of making the reservations (5 months in advance) and we got to go camp at one of God's gorgeous creations! Tom practice camped with the kids a couple of times in the backyard to get them used to it and to see what we'd need for bedding. Laura was thrilled each time they did it. Belly shot at 28 weeks. Thursday, April 19, 2012. We are under contract and will close, God willing! Tom took a few days at the beginning of April to house hunt out in California. Even though he didn't have to find something on this trip, he found something that we were really happy with so we made an offer. Now we are in the midst of learning how much work it is to buy a home. No one ever told me that there was so much paperwork involved! Not quite the New England look that I love, but a good looking house - Tom did well!

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Same place, same person, same month, different year. My little girl is growing up! Http:/ tomandkatieh.blogspot.com/2011/03/playing-in-dirt.html. A glimpse into how we spend our days. Laura came in one morning while I was changing Andrew and asked to hold him. She then started smiling and told us (yes, she already has that bossy attitude characteristic of first children.gotta nip that in the bud.) to take some pictures. These are my favorite out of about 100. Pigtails at the zoo.

Friday, May 10, 2013. Trip to Mandalay Beach. Back in March, we cashed in some of Tom's hotel points (we've gotta get some. Benefit to all Tom's traveling! And stayed right on the beach in Oxnard. The weather was cool, but we had a good time just being together. The kids LOVED the beach and after Andrew discovered the water, we had our work cut out for us keeping him from taking a freezing cold swim! Miraculously captured this precious grin on his face :). Most of the time he was running around like this.

Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Many moments go by in our house where I am happy to have them over and forgotten. Other times I wish I could bottle up the moments and keep them forever. I seldom have my camera ready, but had it the other day so that I can remember these sweet faces and antics long after they're past :). Laura turned some music on after dinner but couldn't dance because, "I don't have on a beautiful dress, Mama! She felt like the most beautiful girl in the world and I agreed with her!

Sunday, May 8, 2011. UK Holiday - Part 2. Since we now have two cameras, I am having trouble synchronizing the download of photos off of each. Therefore, almost three months after our holiday, I'm finally getting these off of the other camera. Enjoy! We splurged one night and stayed in a castle! We did a photo shoot on the grounds the next morning. It was really wet and muddy. Rain boots (wellies as our British friend called them) would have been very useful. There was a beautiful church right next-door.
