Tuesday, 13 November 2012. I’m very excited to announce the launch on Indiegogo of ‘The Inflicted’, a horror game for PC by the hugely talented Ville Nousiainen, for which I’ve had the honour of writing some dialogue and story. I may be biased, but I think it’s fantastic. Click on the picture below for a closer look – all support greatly appreciated! Saturday, 10 November 2012. I'm also going to try to review some similar projects - there are so many great game/story hybrids around at the moment.

Inconsolable: May 2015
http://inconsolablenung.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
May 30, 2015. Swords and Serpents - Ranking. The plot is about as bare bones as one can get and the world consists of rock walls of various colours. Seriously, my subplot with Magnu was deeper than what S&S has to offer. The old man and his many palette-swapped clones don't really add a whole lot of depth to the NPC department either. 2/20. I really want to give Swords and Serpents more points, really I do, but I can't let my nostalgia goggles alter my perception too. Much It's just far too light of a RP...

August 13, 2014. Game 046] Super Daisenryaku (TGCD - 1990). Translation by Gaijin Productions. A game distributed on CD before the SNES had even been released? Yes, it's true, but does Super Daisenryaku take advantage of the massive storage capabilities of the compact disc format? Just look at these swell. Not content to just provide these spreadsheets, Super Daisenryaku gives up more of its internal secrets by outlining the different types of terrains. Just look at these swell terrains. Well? 8226; USA 1.

May Your Stamina Never Fail: Small Beginnings (DQ: Legion of Shadow Prologue & Curse of the Cornfields quest)

May Your Stamina Never Fail. Thursday, 18 October 2012. Small Beginnings (DQ: Legion of Shadow Prologue and Curse of the Cornfields quest). Humble beginnings dealing with farm pests - not. Quite a peril to haunt the existence of the universe. The Legion of Shadow. Is the fact that it has three diamond-bodied serpents intertwined in spirals and stuff. Neat! I ask the boy what happened, having not a Scooby Doo myself as to what the hell is going on here. Take me back to the fluffy bunnies, please! I swear,...

Inconsolable: July 2015

July 25, 2015. How could this game top the awesome terribleness of fish and fecal puns? It can't, that's how. No one can. For the remainder of the game, Ninja Rahoi! Dials it back closer to industry standards, albeit with plenty of modern-day references. Hey, a 70's Python sketch counts as modern. The same way I solve all my. Problems — with mortal combat. That's great, I wasn't about to have them myself. Is it possible that I love tanks. Just as much as I do airships? Where's Shitose when you need him?
