DOWN AND OUT IN PALMY AND LONDON. Wednesday, 1 December 2010. Buenos Aires: Back Again. We took three things seriously when we returned to BA.eating and drinking and napping. In particular Palermo was totes the most epic meal of our LIVES. Go to. Estaurant if you are ever in BA. It was seven levels of steak heaven. Easter lunch with the family. Delicious steak with 12 different accompaniments - this deserves a big picture. They even did massive serving dish sized vegetarian meals for the veggie.

DOWN AND OUT IN PALMY AND LONDON. Wednesday, 23 December 2009. Pisco: It smells like fish. Smell, but a 'my god what is that fishy smell? Smell they also have a penchant for tooting their vehicles horns, all through the night. Cant quite see them in the pic above, but they are hauling up supplies on a rope (possibly birdfeed). In the afternoon we went to the Paracas National Park where we saw flamingoes. It was sort of like the moon. But the moon by the sea. Next mission, Huacachina. The ladies liked Mike.

DOWN AND OUT IN PALMY AND LONDON. Friday, 30 October 2009. I swear its not swine flu. After lying to Mexican customs officials about the state of our health (not good) we are in Hostel Amigo in Mexico City. They not only have free breakfast but free dinner too, awesome. We have completed a tour of the Anthropology Museum, seen Frida Kahlo's house and sampled some of the finest roadside cuisine. Today we are hitting the city centre and tonight there will be a bit of Lucha Libre- just for Mike. A CUP OF JO.

A major highlight of La Paz had to be our beds, which had duvets, no piles of smelly wolly blankies for us on christmas eve, nice cushy duvets, thanks santa. I recommend the Point hostel to anyone heading to La Paz, if you like a good duvet. Before heading back to BA for our final nights, we stopped over in the lovely wee town of Colonia, where the only appropriate thing to do was form a biker gang with our mate Jeff. Hard arse gang members patrolling the streets. Enforcing rules on the streets of colonia. Ancient bull fighting ring. 2 thirds of the gang. Relaxing with a hard earned half pint. DOWN AND OUT IN PALMY AND LONDON. Friday, 13 August 2010. Sao Paulo: 12 jandals in the hand are worth 2 on the foot. We had been warned to avoid Sao Paulo and were told quite a few horror stories about it - to the point that we had resigned ourselves to being robbed at knife point. Our fanny packs were locked and loaded and we had practiced our street fighter moves for the occasion. We ate a "world famous" Bauru sandwich - beef, four slabs of cheese, pickle and more cheese. A couple of pairs for the fam.

DOWN AND OUT IN PALMY AND LONDON. Sunday, 25 July 2010. Tarabuco: Eat my Heart Bitch. On our return from Potosi we spent a day in the Tarabuco markets, a couple of hours from Sucre. They sell all kinds of handicrafts here and although it is pretty touristy, the weaving they do is unbelievable. There's a wee bit there on your chin. Pleasant statue in the main square.
