Life's Crazy Journeys: Opportunity Unexpected....
http://lifescrazyjourneys.blogspot.com/2011/12/its-been-awhile.html
I am so thankful that God is allowing some new opportunities in my life. I desire to feel as though I'm making a difference in the world. I will be reporting back on my experience, not in detail in order to avoid sounding like I am bragging, but I will be describing my internal love, joy, and peace to you - so stay tuned! I hope God will reveal to me what it is he has laid upon my heart. I have the desire, I'm just not sure what it is he wants me to do yet. I will know.when the time is right! When Lauren...

Life's Crazy Journeys: Yesterday...Tomorrow....Today......
http://lifescrazyjourneys.blogspot.com/2014/06/yesterdaytomorrowtoday.html
For so long I have avoided this blog…I have not only been busy with life, in general, but I’ve been too busy to stop and allow myself to be inspired enough to actually put a pen to paper. Today (thankfully) I am humbled….I am inspired….I am grateful……and I am compassionate. But I am also a human being! So I try not to beat myself up too much when it all just clicks again! Have you ever expected someone to “know what you’re thinking? 8221; Like your husband? And why do we do that? I am taking my life one ...

The Doldersum's: Twins 36 Weeks
http://thedoldersums.blogspot.com/2014/12/twins-36-weeks.html
We have made it to week 36! Babies are about the size of Chinese cabbage. Around half of twins are born by the end of 36 wks, which is considered to be normal for twins. We know one twin is already down in pelvic area and the other is also head down. The twins organ system are fully developed and in place, although their lungs will be last to reach maturity. Babies amniotic fluid once clear, is now pale and milky. The outer layers of their skin are also sloughing off as new forms underneath. The Small Th...

The Doldersum's: Twins 33 Weeks-Thanksgiving
http://thedoldersums.blogspot.com/2014/12/twins-33-weeks-thanksgiving.html
Babies are about the size of small pineapples. I am still hanging in there and no sign of babies, yet! They might have heads full of hair. For some reason I think they will come out with hair. Gerard says, Nah. Babies bones are continuing to harden at this stage too, except their skulls, which stay softer for safe delivery. I am feeling and looking more pregnant now. Believe me I get looks and stares all the time. I have the pregnant waddle down. Ha! I am slower and with a few huffs and puffs. It is feel...

The Doldersum's: Twins 34 Weeks
http://thedoldersums.blogspot.com/2014/12/twins-34-weeks.html
Babies are about the size of butternut squash. This week has started off pretty good so far. Just stretching out and little walks around the house. I have the daily pressure in pelvic area. Listening to Christmas music, of course! Just resting as much as I can. Putting my feet up, or even having a nap during the day. It helps improve the blood flow to the placenta, which helps the babies grow. My bag for the hospital is 80% packed and babies bag is ready! This upcoming week we are busy with all Christmas...

The Doldersum's: Twins 31 Weeks
http://thedoldersums.blogspot.com/2014/12/twins-31-weeks.html
Babies are about the size of cucumbers. The babies are heading into a growth spurt. They can turn their heads from side to side. They are beginning to put more fat on their bodies. I have been having trouble sleeping because they move and are very active. Also because I have tons of pressure and need to go to potty. I feel like I am carrying the babies lower now. I wonder if one has turned? This week whatever I eat, I get heartburn. Hopefully, next week will be better. Very thirsty during the day. This w...

The Doldersum's: August 2014
http://thedoldersums.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
I wanted to wish my Mom and brother Blake best of luck. Blake will be starting another school year at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. Mom will be getting a new boss/owner who will be taking over their office the first of September. My mom has worked for the same doctor for almost 28 years. So you can definitely say, it has been a journey. We are halfway there! It sounds so weird to say that. Gerard is a great artist! Babies are the size of heirloom tomatoes. Still drinking lots of fluids.

The Doldersum's: March 2014
http://thedoldersums.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
A few months ago Gerard and I finally decided and booked our vacation destination. We have had this vacation planned for about year now. It wasn't easy planning everyone's busy schedules. But somehow we made it work! My mother and brother will be joining us, so making it a family vacation. I can't wait to be reunited with my family again. G and I are estatic about it all! I hope to post more again and keep caught up once a month. We wish you all a late Happy New Year's! Another member to the Doldersum Cl...

The Doldersum's: November 2014
http://thedoldersums.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
We made it into the 30's! That is a big deal and so happy everything has been great so far. Thankful! Babies are about the size of coconuts. Their skin is getting smoother and their brains are continuing to develop. We think their weights are about 2.5 - 3.8 lbs (1.13 - 1.72 kilo). These two are getting stronger and can feel it. Their kicks and movements are much more harder. Sometimes, I wonder if they kick or jab each other inside my womb? I think so from their movements. Do stretches in the evening.
