http://featherking.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 18, 2007. The Feather King is BACK! After a very long delay. The Featherking is back! It has been such a long time since i've made a post, all this will seem like very old news. For those getting caught up, i decided on getting the Laguna Blue 2008 AP2. Unfortunately, in 2008 the V-Type is not offered, so i went went the standard model. the S-type seemed a bit too Bling for me. Quite amazing all this computer controlled stuff. Feather King's Adventures: 2008 S2000 CR video
http://featherking.blogspot.com/2007/09/2008-s2000-cr-video.html
Tuesday, September 4, 2007. 2008 S2000 CR video. I just found a video clip of the new 2008 S2000 CR. The Club Racer (CR) version is what the US version is being called. The Japan version is being called the Type-S. Here you can see the Gumball Blue color. (which I really dislike). and it also shows the new interior color scheme that is only available on the Type S (black and yellow). I don't think the JDM Type-S version comes with the hard cover behind the rear seats. I think this is a CR option only.

Feather King's Adventures: July 2007
http://featherking.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2007. Well, I am pretty much convinced that I need to get the 2008 S2000 AP2. Since Honda stopped taking orders on the 2007 Model. Final pricing and order taking for the 08M won't happen until mid-late August. Order in August and I should be able to take delivery in October. (Hopefully there won't be any more large earthquakes to stop auto production). I need help from anybody/everybody that is reading this. My problem is deciding on the exterior color and top combination. This actually ...

http://featherking.blogspot.com/2007/12/let-mods-begin.html
Saturday, December 8, 2007. Let the MODS begin! With nearly 500 kilometers on the odometer. I got Fuji Speedway planned for tomorrow morning. (should have another 100 kilometers by the time i get to fuji). Since I am just got back today from London. I figured that would be plenty of time to get my sway bar that I kept from my AP1 installed on the new AP2. I started about 9pm, and after a couple hours, it was all in and working well. I finished up just in time before the rain started. Toyo Proxes R1R Tires.

Honda Integra Type R (DC5) - in Japan: December 2009
http://racinginjapan.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 25, 2009. Last Fuji event for the year! After a long absence from Japan's circuits (almost a month) I thought the last track visit for the year should belong to Fuji Speedway. Mt Fuji overlooking the circuit. 23rd was a public holiday so Tom. James and Simon (and his NSX crew) we all decided we'd give it a go. Seeing that it was a holiday we were worried about having to compete with too many cars on the track but in the end it wasn't too bad. DC5 in front of the main straight. Drivers we...

Sunday, September 27, 2009. Endless pads have been fitted. Today I finally fitted those new Endless MX72 brake pads and boy do they grip! I tried to brake really hard a couple of times when returning home from Seeker and I was AMAZED how strong they really were! Looking forward to my next circuit outing, most likely at Tsukuba :). For now though, a big decision is just around a corner.that long awaited suspension upgrade! More details in the days to come! Saturday, September 26, 2009. It bloody saved me!

Team J.A.M.R: April 2010
http://team-jamr.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 30, 2010. Winton Test and Tune. After a not so successful first outing (due to AFM failure), we decided to have another crack at Winton. This time at one of their Test and Tune track days. Upon arrival we were surprised to find less than a dozen sport sedans and a few Formula Fords. However no complaints were heard from us especially considering we had three drivers sharing the one car and needed as much track ti. Me as we can possibly get. Overall it was quite an interesting day. However, ...

Team J.A.M.R: October 2011
http://team-jamr.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 16, 2011. As the weather starts to heat up, the urge to ensure all fluids are fresh becomes stronger. I started noticing a coolant smell after short drives. Turns out my lower radiator hose developed a slight leak. So a replacement set from Samco was purchased. The silicone hoses Samco produce are top notch and at the price the standard rubber hoses sell for, it makes financial sense to purchase the aftermarket alternative. Wouldn't surprise me if these hoses out last the actual radiator.

Team J.A.M.R: STi gone...
http://team-jamr.blogspot.com/2011/12/sti-gone.html
Wednesday, December 14, 2011. And I actually thought this one was going to be a keeper! It's been less than a year since I purchased her, but due to unforeseeable circumstances I've had to sell up. I believe I've achieved my goal of modifying it to a level where its got enough power without compromising comfort and drive-ability for a street car. The 06/07 STi is definitely one of the better looking Subaru shapes to come out of Japan. And with all the creature comforts one could need. TCP Auto TBE Exhaust.

Team J.A.M.R: And so it begins....
http://team-jamr.blogspot.com/2011/06/and-so-it-begins.html
Monday, June 20, 2011. And so it begins. So over the past few months as I quickly got acquainted with the new STi, the modding bug slowly kicked in :-/. I was quick to order an STi front lip from Ultrex Performance, which helped transform the front end of the car. Then the Greddy Infometer was next to be installed, which I might add has saved me a few times with it's alarm notification. My old scratched gear knob, for a newer more lighter STi duracon style knob! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
