While he was here we went for a little walk around the neighborhood to enjoy the lovely flowers. Now on to the knitting content ;-). I was really interested in participating in Project Spectrum. A Cabled Story: January 2011
http://knittingwallflower.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 10, 2011. The first batch didn't come out very well, they flattened out too much and got a little burnt on the bottom. I threw in more flour which helped a lot (you can see the difference in the pic above). Hopefully you'll be hearing from me again soon. I'm crossing my fingers for a snow day tomorrow although we were the only ones that didn't have one today, so I'm not holding my breath. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Friday, January 6, 2012. Christmas part 1: McKenny Side. I'm still not completely done with Christmas knitting (don't ask) but I got all the matching colour scheme knitting done and couldnt resist the photo-op. That's a shawl for mom, a shawl for momm, a sweater for Dad McKenny, and hats for Timm's brother, sister-in-law, sister, and future brother-in-law. I also knitted a hat for Timm's neice but that wasn't done yet when this pic was taken. Here's a picture of me with Timm's neice, Cami on Christmas Eve.

http://knittingwallflower.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. Physical Therapy school started last Monday, and I managed to survive the entire first week. For awhile it seemed unlikely, but now there's only 16 more weeks in the semester (yes, we already have a countdown going)! I realized he was pointing to the healing incisions from my gallbladder surgery and I replied with "gallbladder." He said "why? I replied with "gallstones" and he looking aghast said "at your age? Before classes started I finished Arch-shaped Sock #1. I am. Wish me l...
