The rooms are new with fully equipped kitchens private baths, wireless access and satellite television. There are two units. On the main floor with either two twins or a king bed. An Alaskan Lodge Overlooking Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet. Fun things to do in and around Homer. We are right on The Homestead Trail. This trail starts at the West end of Diamond Ridge Rd where it meets the Sterling Hwy. (3 miles from the lodge) It is 1.5 miles to the beach and then you can walk all the way to Homer, approx. 6 more miles, or to Anchor Point at least 9 miles. There are Rock Tidal Pools about 1/2 way to Homer that are fun to explore on our really low tides. Winter is our favorite season!
