Twine is a freeware, open-source program that can be used to create interactive and non-linear text-based stories. It can be used for fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and even games. I have created a couple of small projects in Twine, and plan to finish some bigger ones in the near future. The Descent was my first real effort at working with Twine, and I learned a lot in the process. The most important thing I learned was that working with Twine is a LOT of fun!
