Just choose a design, stitch and color and you can make a unique and interesting hat for yourself or as a gift. Materials: Medium to bulky weight yarn works best. Amount: I’ve been using various scraps of yarn for these so I’m not sure of how many ounces you will need . Needle size: I used 8 or 9 for these. Ribbing stitch K2 P2) for about 1 1/2 inches for the brim. K2 tog for entire row.
