A Grrrl and a Ring: For the Love of a Dress
http://agrrrlandaring.blogspot.com/2008/10/for-love-of-dress.html
A Grrrl and a Ring. Married. Gay. Rad. Monday, October 13, 2008. For the Love of a Dress. This weekend I became someone I never thought I would be. I cried over the beauty of a dress. The "crying-over-the-dress" incident officially marks the moment that the great dress hunt morphed into something totally different than I ever anticipated. I have done what I never thought I would do: I have fallen in love. with a dress. Actually, with a whole line of dresses. Tale a picture to a tailor. We VOW To Inspire.

A Grrrl and a Ring: September 2008
http://agrrrlandaring.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
A Grrrl and a Ring. Married. Gay. Rad. Monday, September 29, 2008. A Grrrl with a Pearl. I still don't regret the diamond decision. I feel good about my reasons - but I do feel a little silly. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Marriage: Pros and Cons. And here I am. sucked into something even more useless. But I can't stop. and to be perfectly honest. I'm loving it. I can't get myself to clean my own damn house, but I can spend an hour researching table linens and crinolines. man, I'm such a fraud. 5 I was get...

I Like You and I Know Why...: February 2009
http://ilikeyouandiknowwhy.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
I Like You and I Know Why. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. I've been thinking a lot about what I want to wear to my wedding. Clothing gets more complicated with a lesbian wedding. Do you both wear dresses? Does one of you wear a suit? Or something more like a suit than like a dress? And if you go for dresses, does that mean two big white pouffy confections? There's got to be some middle ground. right? Something that's classy but not over the top? I don't know yet what I want my dress to look like, but we've ...

The Mad Gay Wedding: Wedding Recaps Part II: The Ceremony
http://madgaywedding.blogspot.com/2009/09/wedding-recaps-part-ii-ceremony.html
Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Wedding Recaps Part II: The Ceremony. Now we can move on to the wedding ceremony! It was a beautiful ceremony, on a beautiful warm Spring day, with all my beautiful friends and family. So I guess if I had to summarize the ceremony, I'd have to call it beautiful. The beautiful photos are still from the very talented Danielle at SkyeBlu Photo. Mike really wanted a piano at the ceremony. It was a great addition. Mike has four brothers, this is #3. I've got one sister, she's #1.

To Each Her Own: November 2009
http://toeacherown.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
To Each Her Own. Love, Life and a Lesbian Wedding. Thursday, November 12, 2009. The holidays are fast approaching, and D and I are gearing up for our epic mini-vacation to New York City for the Thanksgiving break. I love this time of year! But I feel like it goes by too fast. First you leisurely waltz into Halloween, then you have a nice month of fall and then Thanksgiving but then BAM. Just like my parents 180lb St. Bernard, Christmas knocks you over and says I'M HERE! Now, imagine it with a SANTA hat.

To Each Her Own: January 2010
http://toeacherown.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
To Each Her Own. Love, Life and a Lesbian Wedding. Friday, January 29, 2010. I've been listening to some rocking Pandora music channels today, hoping to catch some new artists I like. I'm also secretly hoping to stumble upon some wedding songs. Deb and I have some terrible luck when it comes to songs. We seem to have problems finding and sticking to songs that we like without being tainted. Petty or no, it is a problem. People of the Jury, may I introduce the evidence:. Bubbly by Colbie Caillat. Was, by ...

To Each Her Own: From the Times, of course
http://toeacherown.blogspot.com/2010/02/from-times-of-course.html
To Each Her Own. Love, Life and a Lesbian Wedding. Monday, February 8, 2010. From the Times, of course. A favorite Monday activity of mine is to go to the New York Times web page. And view the "most popular" tab from the front page. I am always surprised by what America blogs about, emails their friends about or recommends to read. It is such a diverse little section, and I always enjoy taking an hour or so to do during lunch, or during some down time. For example, did you know one S inatra. Crazy I thin...

To Each Her Own: Oh No!
http://toeacherown.blogspot.com/2010/02/oh-no.html
To Each Her Own. Love, Life and a Lesbian Wedding. Thursday, February 4, 2010. I had my first wedding related stressy pants dream. Dreamed that the only thing in place was the venue- no food, no photographer, no booze, no flowers, no veils (we aren't wearing veils! And no make-up. we ended up going to wal-mart and buying covergirl and some hippy dippy shop to buy tiaras. (gag). And then, no transportation, so we were escorted to the aisle in Jackie of All Trade's unwashed Scion XB. And it was raining.
