Kids, crafts, country life and more. Friday, May 1, 2015. On Jefferson Memorial steps. Washington Monument through a bridge railing. So wonderful to spend time with these smart kids. Little Red Alice flanked by her blue striped boys. Happy on the Senate subway. Idaho's first Governor Shoup. Washington's 16 sided treading barn. Two Little Cowhands: Everything I Know about Cloth Diapers

http://twolittlecowhands.blogspot.com/p/everything-i-know-about-cloth-diapers.html

Kids, crafts, country life and more. Everything I Know about Cloth Diapers. Before you have kids, there are all sorts of decisions to make. What kind of stroller, crib, carseat, etc. One that most people don't really think about it, what kind of diaper? Here's one day of diapers when Alice and Clyde were both in them:. All stuffed and ready to go:. The far right is a Smartipants diaper, the velcro ones are all Bum Genius, and the one fourth from the left that's mint colored is a Fuzzibunz. 26 Toy Organiz...

Two Little Cowhands: Bright Lights, Big City

http://twolittlecowhands.blogspot.com/2015/04/bright-lights-big-city.html

Kids, crafts, country life and more. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Bright Lights, Big City. Mumsy funded and led an educational tour for the children to New York City and Washington, DC. She arranged to take the three oldest children and myself for 10 days. April 16 we departed from the Boise airport on an early flight going through Salt Lake City and Minneapolis in route to LaGuardia Airport in Queens. We were able to find a play area in the Minneapolis airport to entertain the kids while we waited.

The Hardin's: January 2013

http://kennandjaimehardin.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Koen was very excited to see Santa this year. Sage - not so much! Still angry about the whole Santa thing. I love the peacefulness of a lighted tree in a dark decorated living room. It always brings back the feelings of magic and wonder Xmas inspired in me as a kid. First attempt at a picture in front of the Xmas tree for a Xmas card photo - not so successful. Koen is really into making "silly" faces. First snow of the season. First Basque dancing performance! More photos of Sage and I courtesy of Koen.

The Hardin's: Early 2014

http://kennandjaimehardin.blogspot.com/2014/05/early-2014.html

2014 started out with an inversion so we headed up towards the ski hill (Bogus Basin) to escape the dreariness. This is the view just above the inversion. Boise is under there somewhere. The kids enjoyed hiking in the snow, sunshine, clear air. And a "crazy" tailgate lunch before heading back down into the dreary inversion. Sage turned 3 on February 3rd! Tractor". Koen (5), Sage (3), Evie (1), Luke (3). Easter with the Hardins. Thanks Grandma for the new books and Phlat balls. Sage had fun blowing bubbles.

The Hardin's: April 2012

http://kennandjaimehardin.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Easter weekend kicked off with a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and bbq on Saturday. Koen's best buddy Cooper lives just around the corner so they had a great time chasing each other and sharing their prizes. Koen doesn't like any candy that's not chocolate so Cooper lucked out big time! The last event was dinner at the Hardins followed by an Easter egg scavenger hunt. It was a long day but loads of fun! 3 generation of Hardin men working hard to decipher the egg hunt clues. We've kept busy with work, Koen...

http://kennandjaimehardin.blogspot.com/2014/08/may-july-2014.html

Goofing around at the zoo. Picnicking at Lucky Peak before heading into the foothills on a butterfly and wildflower hunt. First camping trip of the summer with the Starkels. No better way to beat the heat on 100 degree days than a good old fashioned slip n slide. Koen and his buddy Kea'kua at golf lessons. Sage and Io'kepa waiting for their big brothers at golf. Sage and her best friend Kya (our 12 year old chocolate lab) on an early morning river walk while camping near Pine. View my complete profile.

http://kennandjaimehardin.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Koen was scared to death of the big harvester and was only willing to sit in it for a second if Kenn held him. Maybe next year. Searching for the biggest potatoes in the field. This little tractor was more up Koen's alley! Doug helping Koen pick the perfect potatoes to take home. Too busy looking for pumpkins to look at the camera. Sage is trying hard to crawl and is dying to be able to move so she can get into all of Koen's stuff. I have a feeling we're going to have our hands full with her!

Koen's first swimming lessons. Koen just finished his first swimming lessons and he did great! He loved being in the inflatable pirate boats, playing with the noodles, going down the slide and playing with the watertoys. He did NOT like floating on his back and having to stop playing with toys to participate in structured activities. Oh well.you win some, you lose some :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Handmade Homeschool Philosophy – Handmade Homeschool

https://handmadehomeschool.wordpress.com/handmade-homeschool-philosophy

101 things in 1001 days. Accepting your Mothering Type. Loving the mothers we are. I want to bring the DIY explosion of energy to homeschooling: make what you want, make it fit, make it yours. I don’t want to settle for a pre-fab life. I don’t plan to settle for a pre-fab homeschool. I believe that we’re all – each and every one of us – the experts on our families. Why do we let others tell us what’s right at which time? Life is an adventure. Be an adventurer. Your life is a work of art. Be an artist.

Clyde and Family: February 2010

http://clydeharry.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

The life and times of one crazy kid (and his family)! Saturday, February 27, 2010. So as not to make Alice feel like she wasn't part of the show, I've moved to www.twolittlecowhands.blogspot.com. Mommy will be sharing crafts and tales and she'll be the voice of the blog. Over and out, Clyde. Monday, February 22, 2010. This is Alice in a "hay cave". She loves eating dirt, playing in toilets, jumping in mud puddles, and dollies. Here we are at the zoo with our friends from Seattle. Tuesday, February 2, 2010.

Two Little Cookies | Kids, love, life, thoughts, ideas…and cookies!

About Two Little Cookies. History of the Cookie. May 26, 2011 · 9:56 pm. Yesterday I visited Cookie J’s primary school – he starts ‘big’ school next year. I didn’t do a school tour, it wasn’t open day. No, I simply went to drop his enrolment form in. Fortunately I didn’t bawl my eyes out in front of the office staff. I just wandered down the hallway looking at the artwork, while trying to fight off tears! Tagged as growing up. May 25, 2011 · 6:13 am. 8220;Yeah Mum, listen, and. I actually then thought wh...
