Thursday, June 11, 2009. Ollie and Em were begging to go to the playground today, and even though it was 100 degrees, off we headed to Zilker Park. To my surprise there were quite a few kids there - thank goodness it was cooler in the shade! I had my "big dawg" (camera) with me, and decided to take advantage of my super adorable babes having fun. Turned out though, that Emma spent the whole time sitting on a stoop pulling little rocks out of her shoes (hence the very "Emma" super pout picture!

Sunday, April 19, 2009. Dead car, wild turkeys, farm. Yesterday was glorious weather, and kind of a weird day. It took us a while to get out of the house, with big plans for taking the kids to Drumlin farm in Lincoln. We got out to the car, and the doors wouldn't unlock with my key clicker thing. "Uh-oh. What is going on? We were too scared to turn the car off, and deactivate the car alarm - for fear that it wouldn't start again. We promised the kids farm, and so farm it was! Friday, April 17, 2009.

Thursday, June 9, 2011. I had a baby shower to go to recently and decided that I should get crafty and make something cute. I came up with this idea after seeing a tub filled with cheery buttons with funny (sometimes cheeky) sayings. The winners for Mission: Baby Onesies were Cutie Pie, Night Owl, Sweet Pea,. And then I also made one onesie by sewing a layered fabric flower. Everything is cuter when it's teeny-tiny, and I love how these turned out! Labels: sewing baby shower. Very cute and very clever!

Last month I was in Las Vegas to run the half marathon that they offer. It was a whirlwind weekend. We were headed to Denver Friday to fly out to Vegas that night. A very uneventful flight. I was ancy to get to Vegas. We landed safe and sound. The cab ride to the hotel was probably more nerve racking than the flight.
