Thursday, 12 January 2012. A Smeg refrigerator is definitely on my most wanted list this year. I would love one in pastel pink but, I'm not quite sure my partner would agree. That's OK, I'll take it in white. Now, who's buying? Thursday, January 12, 2012. 13 January 2012 at 09:29. I think the green is pretty cool too :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, 30 January 2012. I am in love with this room. I came across this wonderful space on oneclaireday.blogspot.com. (Check it out for a great read and Claire's beautiful images). Claire styled this room for her daughter Eulalie and isn't it just adorable? I particularly love the floor cushions under the window and the distressed green cabinet against the wall. I want one! South 35th: Rainbow Cake in a Jar
http://south35th.blogspot.com/2012/01/rainbow-cake-in-jar.html
One mom's take on kids, marriage, DIY projects, and product reviews. Thursday, January 5, 2012. Rainbow Cake in a Jar. Even though Miss C is uber grown up and mature now, she loves anything "in a jar". Pies. Cookies. Cakes. You name it. She has excellent taste. For her birthday this year I though that I would try something a little different. Rainbow cake in a jar. WHOOHOO. I know some of your minds just exploded. Rainbows and cakes and mason jars. Together. Wow. Don't let on, but it is really easy.

ShicShicShic: Sewing From Home: The Lace Trim Bonnet
http://jordannhall.blogspot.com/2011/12/lace-trim-bonnet.html
The Lace Trim Bonnet. I started with a 19"x9" rectangle and two 1.5" x 9" rectangles for the ties. I used the same matte poly satin that was used in the matching Lace trim dress. I used two different laces for this bonnet. For the front ruffle I used 18" of a 1 1/2" ruffled lace, thrifted from goodwill. For the gather in the back and ruffles on the bottom I used a 3/4" lace. Probably around 22-25" of it, total. Matching the fabric and the lace. S baby, Abbey. Next, make the ties. Fold the two rectang...

Tuesday, 7 February 2012. I could get used to having a pair of antlers around the house. They look great on their own or can be used to hang jewellery and trinkets from. They come in all shapes, colours and sizes and would work well in any room in the house. Tuesday, February 07, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). All's Well, DL!: Easiest Skirt Ever!! And No Pattern Required!
http://allswelldl.blogspot.com/2012/01/easiest-skirt-ever-and-no-pattern.html
All's Well, DL! Too many ideas not enough (life) time! Thursday, January 12, 2012. And No Pattern Required! Well it has been a hot old day.well a couple of days! Middle of Summer and 36 degree heat with plenty of humidity. I was hopeful for some rain today, waking early to the sound of thunder. That cleared by breakfast, and a hot humid day continued. Fingers crossed the rain that has been forecasted for tomorrow is forthcoming, and I hope heaps of it. I have been a little busy whipping up what I call.

Sew Delicious: Santa Baby!
http://sewddelicious.blogspot.com/2011/12/santa-baby.html
Sunday, December 4, 2011. I noticed lately that I make a lot more clothes for Anna than I do for Lucy. I guess that happens when you have two kidlets of the same gender - the eldest gets all the new gear while the younger ones end up wearing the hand me downs. So I decided to make something special for my littlest one. Over at Prudent Baby. I had the yellow polka dot fabric in my scrap stash, and had just enough for the neckline and to make some bias binding to sew along the hem. I will be posting some m...
