Two Guys Gaming: January 2009
http://twoguysgaming.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Discussion of (mostly) two-player games. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. TwoGG 1: What do the other blogs say? I'm kind of going off the script here so, Tim, correct me if you don't think this is a good idea for our blog. I thought it might be interesting for our readers if we linked to similar observations on the games we've just played by other players. Since I was over at Two Sides to the Coin. So, what did Mike and Eric over at Two Sides to the Coin. Go see for yourself:. Links to this post. Hopefully nex...

On Board Wargaming: Cityfight: Modern Combat in the Urban Environment
http://onboardwargaming.blogspot.com/2013/08/cityfight-modern-combat-in-urban.html
Thursday, August 8, 2013. Cityfight: Modern Combat in the Urban Environment. I have played two games of Cityfight recently and am scheduled to play it again this Sunday. I have really enjoyed our games. Not knowing where your opponent's units are really adds a lot of suspense to the game. We have been using the Basic and Intermediate game rules. The rules are really well written. We haven't found any problems with them. From my Android phone on T-Mobile. The first nationwide 4G network. 1805: Sea of Glory.

On Board Wargaming: Angola! - Thoughts on Covert Military Aid
http://onboardwargaming.blogspot.com/2013/08/angola-thoughts-on-covert-military-aid.html
Thursday, August 1, 2013. Thoughts on Covert Military Aid. In the picture, we had just finished turn 5 and the FAPLA/MPLA Alliance has a 3VP lead. Earlier in the game we gave away 1VP when we over bid on Covert Aid and we would do it again later in the game. That is 2 free VPs for the other side! That got me to thinking in the future, if my Alliance is leading in VPs, it may be best to bid zero the majority of the time and one sometimes for Covert Aid. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Game of Thrones.
