This was the first time we've canned in our new kitchen, it was sooooo nice to have room! Canning is something I've learned from Matt's mom, and I'm so glad she's taken the time to teach me. Thursday, July 17, 2014. O Christmas Tree 11-23-2013. One of our favorite new traditions is cutting down a fresh Christmas Tree. Our ceilings are 12' high, so we love having a huge tree. Somehow I didn't end up with any pictures of it decorated.it was beautiful! The tree is so tall that this little ledge is the easiest way to get the star on. We went to Wasatch State Park and had a great photographer that brought out our kids' personalities and made us look good too. :).
