Ubiquitous Computing Group
We are interested in ubiquitous computing and the research issues involved in building and evaluating ubicomp applications and services that impact our lives. Much of our work is situated in settings of everyday activity, such as the classroom, the office and the home. For more details about our ongoing research initiatives, please visit the research page. Contact Prof. Gregory Abowd or the affiliated faculty with inquiries about the Ubiquitous Computing group.
Ubiquitous Computing Lab
Our lab is mainly concerned in areas of wireless sensor networks, mobile computing and distributed algorithms. More specifically, we focus on developing robust and resilient distributed wireless services and applications. Our work spans several issues and applications related to Wireless Computing:. MAC layers for robust single-hop broadcast communication. Geometric infrastructures for local and resilient WSN services. Programming abstractions for WSN control & collaboration applications.
