At our nursery we are growing about sixty hectares of flowerbulbs, in the area of Callantsoog and Julianadorp (Den Helder) in the North-West Part of Holland. Also we grow 4 hectares of Lilies in Limburg and 5 hectares of Crocus in Marknesse (Noordoostpolder). These flowerbulbs are not beeing sold to consumers, but they will find their way around the world by Dutch exporters. Many of our bulbs are being forced in glasshouses for cut-flowers and pot-flowers. Cleaning and sorting planting material of Lilies.

In 1969 they were offered a company in Julianadorp, near Den Helder in the North-west part of Holland. It contained a house, old barns an also 3,5 hectares of land. After short thinking they bought the place. The barns - which were used as a chicken farm - were hardly suitable to store and prepare flowerbulbs. The whole family - mother and four children included - helped as much as possible in the nursery. John is joining the company since october 2000.

A few years now we are certified for PrimaBol. Primabol Plus contains, beside the registrations that are obliged, higher demands on product-quality, tracking and tracing, and also working conditions. Every 2 years we are audited by MPS-ECAS. For more information on PrimaBol you can go to www.kavb.nl. All our flowerbulbs are inspected by various authorities. De "Bloembollenkeuringsdienst" (BKD). Since 2010 we are mps-certificated.

Al een aantal jaren zijn wij Primabol gecertificeerd. PrimaBol Plus bevat naast de verplichte registraties aanvullende eisen ten aanzien van bijvoorbeeld productkwaliteit, traceerbaarheid van het product en arbeidsomstandigheden. Op ons bedrijf worden circa 60 hectare bloembollen geteeld op de zandgronden in en rond Callantsoog en Julianadorp. Zo'n 4 hectare Lelies worden in Limburg (Ijselsteijn) en 5 hectare crocussen in Marknesse (Noordoostpolder) geteeld. Deze bloembollen worden door ons niet rechtstreeks aan de consument verkocht maar vinden door middel van exporteurs een bestemming over de gehele wereld of worden door broeierijen in bloei getrokken of op potten geteeld. Onderhoud machines en inventaris.
