Levels of employment in the United Kingdom have continued to rise and unemployment has correspondingly to fallen. These changes continue the general direction of movement since late 2011/early 2012. The employment rate for people aged 16 to 64 is 73%. 3061 million people are in work. An increase of 74,000 from February to April 2014.
