Raising the science of Humorous Illustration to an art form.". Friday, January 1, 2010. Hangin' out at the library. Sometimes take my work there just to get out of the house, and it's cheaper than Starbucks. Sometimes to look through all the magazines that I can't afford subscriptions to. Sometimes to renew the great books that I've checked out because I haven't been reading fast enough. Here's to a great year of reading great books! January 1, 2010 at 10:44 AM. He is like "you have to come and tell me what is inside the bird feeder. He is saying it is either a rat or a squirrel. I stagger out to the front windows, get my eyes into focus and take a look. Fisherstine: The Questions That Plague Me
http://fisherstine.blogspot.com/2010/03/questions-that-plague-me.html
Monday, March 29, 2010. The Questions That Plague Me. Who knew that writing a bio for your fellow-students at graduate school would be so exhausting? We're all "distance learners," so in my opinion, this first introduction is rather important. I mean, I've got this fake persona to create, and it's so hard finding the balance between "outlandish" and "too humble.". Of course, I'm kidding. But really. How "real" should I be? I want to write like I write, but would that be right? These questions plague me.

Offshoots: I caught a black vulture!!
http://scouthort.blogspot.com/2011/04/i-caught-black-vulture.html
Saturday, April 16, 2011. I caught a black vulture! This journal has well established that I am obsessed with birds. That being said, I never thought that I would ever capture a wild Black Vulture. My adrenaline has only recently subsided. I saw this young vulture walking down my dirt road, dragging her wing. So I stopped and called The Center for Birds of Prey. Assuming this was what you were supposed to do, I said okay. No one ever says yes! Being a closeted people- pleaser. Compost in my shoe. April 1...

http://mathewsonmemorykeeper.blogspot.com/2010/04/irvine-park-for-daddys-spring-break.html
Friday, April 23, 2010. Irvine Park for Daddy's Spring Break! Daddy was on spring break a few weeks ago, so we spent an entire morning at Irvine Park fishing, eating, bouncing, eating, riding ponies, eating, playing at the playground and finally some more eating! Brixie Lee wanted to decorate a cupcake. BUT, she didn't put nearly enough frosting on it, so Mommy HAD to help! Helene LOVED the cookie and wanted to see if it would make a good hair gel. What do you think? Helene however, not so much :) Hahaha!

http://beyoga.blogspot.com/2009/11/flying-to-sydney-24-november-2009.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Flying to Sydney 24 November 2009. I think there are few experiences in life that are more inspiring and invigorating than travel, especially traveling to a brand new part of the planet. I’m in the air en route to Sydney. This is my first time venturing south of the equator, and I feel like a child on Christmas Eve. What is it, exactly, about travel that is so enriching and simultaneously unraveling? October 11, 2010 at 9:45 PM. I love the winter boots. Ur blog got good posts.

scaredy-cat: what's up
http://aboutlittlethings.blogspot.com/2011/05/whats-up.html
Monday, May 30. However, here's a quick roundup. January and February were crazy-busy. Like so busy I thought after just one week of the spring semester. I can't make it. I probably couldn't have made it through the semester, judging by how knackered I was after January. But suddenly it didn't matter, 'cause I got an internship in Helsinki, contrary to my own beliefs (I haven't dared to ask yet was it because I was the only applicant, or because I practically begged for them to take me). Which made the r...
