Postcards from Britain: January 2009

http://www.ukpostcards.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Lift me up above it all. No coursework, no lecture notes to read, no studying. So, what does the weekend entail? But first, back to bed to finish catching up on sleep! Brought to you by ncmunchkin. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. When my world falls apart and the light turns to dark. That still seems odd. I can't believe I've finished an entire class in 3 weeks. But then again, I'm really glad. This isn't really material that interests me, so it'll be nice to get into...The past ...

Postcards from Britain: December 2008

http://www.ukpostcards.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 9, 2008. I get knocked down, but I get up again. I mean, it was alright. Sunday I went hiking in the Peak District with a couple friends. Let me start off by saying the peaks here make the mountains back home look huge! But it's still nature, and nature is beautiful, so it was still a breathtaking sight. After Back tor we continued along the ridge towards Mam tor, apparently the highest peak. Along we way we past some mountain bikers, brave mountain bikers, biking up an icy stone pa...

Postcards from Britain: June 2009

http://www.ukpostcards.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Monday, June 29, 2009. It's like a heat wave. I have a new appreciation for air conditioning. Really. When it's 80 degrees with over 30% humidity and there's no a/c, it's rather miserable. But since I'm from the south and supposed to be used to this kind of weather, or worse, I try really hard not to complain around those that aren't used to the weather. ie. The English. But man, they do love to complain about the weather here! Sea lions, and the giraffes. Saturday, we took the train to Stratford. From h...

Sunday, March 22, 2009. The whole world is blazing, we need water. Brought to you by ncmunchkin. Saturday, March 21, 2009. And this walk that we shared together. Today is absolutely gorgeous here in England. In fact, it's been a few days of quite beautiful weather. It's great to walk around outside without freezing and to sit in my apartment with the windows open. Can't beat a few days like that. This week has been an interesting one. Most of my coursemates. Brought to you by ncmunchkin. I only have 2 mo...

http://www.ukpostcards.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Good times never seemed so good. This past weekend I traveled down south of uni to visit Birmingham and Dudley. Hall It's built on the Earl of Dudley's land where his home used to be. It's a medieval manor house. Very pretty. Overall it was a beautiful weekend. While everyone around me kept complaining about the heat (it was maybe 70 degrees! Brought to you by ncmunchkin. Thursday, May 21, 2009. When the cream and the crop are the same. We had no proper grill on which to cook the m...

REFINED: Catching up

http://stefanie-redefining.blogspot.com/2011/02/catching-up.html

Refined: Free from impurities. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. I just sat down with this blank page and I simply wonder what I need to put here. What do I need to write to compensate for the lost blogs that I haven't been writing. What is it that my friends near and far need to know about what is going on in my life? Is there anything that you don't know, need to know or would care to know? I am so completely excited about where God is taking me and I know that I will be in ministry for a long time to come:).

REFINED: A New Beginning

http://stefanie-redefining.blogspot.com/2011/08/new-beginning.html

Refined: Free from impurities. Saturday, August 27, 2011. I am going to try to do a better job of updating my blog while I am away over the next few months. It may be difficult for me to do it regularly and get in the habit of blogging. However, I promise to give it a go and see where it takes me. Hopefully into your homes and into your hearts. New International Version (NIV). 9 For my own name’s sake I delay my wrath;. For the sake of my praise I hold it back from you,. How can I let myself be defamed?
