I tell you what. I find it important to acknowledge these beloved people today because it bothers me when parents diminish their childrens' accomplishments (and it reminds me that mine never did that) or otherwise damage them. and i know i am so lucky that my parents are my parents, as crazy as they are and as crazy as i think they are. Also, damon's home for a month. yay! Bbg is back. yay! I was chatting with lance tonight (uka days treasurer and bud) and it helped to remind me who i am. a little.

Gee i posted 4 entries last year, and 3 of them were in january. then i just got really busy. i guess that's good. it was an epic year after all. The comic book is done. amazingly well-received. lots of praise. gratifying, to say the least. Big red reset button. So i did not have the best week ever last week. and that is official. But it wasn't anything major. actually, it was so much nothin' that as i left vm for lori today about how i had to tell her about my jacked up week, i started giggling. and it all just seemed so ridiculous. and high school. So i'm still bored. but you know what? This time, i'm doing it without the guilt. it's a really different ballgame. I really liked the story in my head. it was so cute. too bad.

And now, for something completely different. Yes, i am going to hang with peeps my own age or closer to it. My friend kawak once said to me, "sometimes you live a very big life. not everyone can hang.". And that made me cry. because. if that's true (and it feels true) . it is bound to be very lonely at times. like now. (so i'm doing my part to mitigate that. operation outreach is in full effect.). Isn't that pretty normal? This scene before me looked nothing like whatever it was that was in my head.
