Area refers to the southern end of the national park, beginning near Ashbourne and spreading up to Buxton. Monthly Archives: October 2012. There are two major merchandise efforts that the publicity and merchandise secretary runs. The first of these is the calendar which is based on the academic year. For the first time, this year it included not only the dates of all hikes but also the dates of most socials. Also for the first time, every hike and every social was represented by it’s own photo! The Hiking Club Logo. Over the summer, I created the logo for the UMHC. It can currently be seen on our website.
