Glencoul cottage is purpose built in a traditional Highland style. It is insulated, double-glazed, furnished and equipped to a high standard and is extremely warm and comfortable. The living room, kitchen and double bedroom all enjoy outstanding views over the loch. Accommodation comprises one double and one single bedroom, living-room, open plan kitchen/dining room and a bathroom with bath and shower. Kitchen equipment includes an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Enjoy a boat trip. To see the seals and Britain’s highest waterfall, Eas a Chual Aluinn. Return via the Kylesku Hotel. With its excellent restaurant and selection of malt whiskies. The villages of Scourie. Are also within easy reach. Head north over the famous Kylesku Bridge and you will soon arrive at the beautiful, lonely beaches of Oldshoremore, Sandwood Bay, Balnakiel and Durness. The letting period is from 4pm Saturday to 10am on the Saturday of the final week. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable six weeks in advance of your arrival date. Bookings of more than one consecutive week will benefit from a 5% discount. We operate a ‘NO SMOKING’ policy in the cottages.

We overlook Loch Glencoul, with its unique geology and beauty, and enjoy a backdrop that includes the magnificent mountain; Quinag. Set in three acres of private grounds, which include a small woodland, landscaped grounds and access to our small private beach. Even dolphins, have been spotted in the Loch!
