A Community Participation Project. New Film Making in Heaton. Under Heaton’s Fields. A 30 minute film by Peter Dillon and Tessa Green was made over the course of the project with documentary footage of the community project and storytelling acting out the detail of the disaster of 1815, underpinned by Heaton resident Richard Scott’s music with Heaton Voices & Appletwig Songbook. Many of the audience came to see themselves in the films……. Many films were made, including schools’ contributions.
