Fleur is a sweet and simple girl who embodies impermanence, honesty, and introspection. Was in September of 2010 on the white board at the office of Rampant Creative Group. Where I drew her simply because we needed cheering up. She disappeared for a while (as dry erase drawings tend to do), until I decided to bring her to life for a second time. I found the character that she had become to be both simple and inspiring, and I wanted to keep her around. Thus, “Une Petite Fleur” was born.

Doesn't actually speak french. My comic, Une Petite Fleur, was a pet project from 2010 2013, until I put the comic on hiatus. I was originally inspired by some whiteboard drawings I’d done for fun. Hit with the desire to create more and further develop these characters, I came up with a name, bought the domain, and got to drawing. Is way more awkward in person. I’m one of those people who falls in love with everything they do. In St Louis, MO, and began developing web projects for clients as a team in early 2010. Shortly thereafter, I discovered a real love for game development. So we happily divided our studio efforts among interactive client work and game production. July 17, 2011. Honestly, before taking a class on sea vegetables, I never really gave them much thought. The flattened nori sheets, packaged for sushi, was the extent of my knowledge and my taste. Today, I made one of my new favorite varieties. Once hijiki is gathered, it is dried for at least 24 hours and then packaged. Prior to consumption it needs to be rehydrated in water, where is balloons to about 5 times it’s size! So a little can go a long way. She teaches at the Academy of Healing Nutrition.
