Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Because of Romek: OP#3. 1) I thought that David Faber's community meeting was really interesting. I couldn't believe that someone that went thorough that much was standing right in front of me. As he was speaking he had so much passion in his voice and he would get really emotional. Elli said this quote after her first day of work at her second job, she was telling Alex about how someday in the future she wanted to be like her co-workers Sally and Evelyn. So far from the Bamboo Grove: OP#5. 1 I liked the way that Yoko Kawashima ended the story, how Hideyo got there, and every thing was all peaceful, but it kind of all of a sudden just ended. Like, if they didn't have that little authors note thing at the end we would have never known what happened to the dad,and Yoko never bought her shoes, at least Hideyo finally came back. Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Weekly Reading Response #1. PAGES: 1 - 200. TOTAL PAGES THIS WEEK: 200. I really liked this book, and if I had to find one main idea on what it was really about I think that it was about finding acceptance in anyone. While I was reading Rules by Cynthia Lord I found some words that I didn't understand. Grimace: when someone makes a weird face, people usally grimace when they aren't happy about something.
