Student Nurse, prn: February 2006
http://studentnurseprn.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Student Nurse, prn. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Our quiz for today was cancelled because the instructor was ill. We still had class with our theory class with our clinical instructor substituting but it was more low-key and material that we were going to address later in the semester. Sweeeeet. This lightens the load over the coming week/weekend due to most of the work already being done for next Tuesday. Voting has began for Nursing blog for the month of February at Mediblogopathy. And there is MORE!

Student Nurse, prn. Saturday, December 31, 2005. Can it really be 2006? After catching up on a few blogs that I read regularly I am very melancholy today. Can a new year really be about to begin? Wow Time is so intriguing . What will the next year bring? Hopefully a graduation in May for me. Followed by a graduation from the 8th grade in June for my eldest daughter. (*gasp* I can't possibly be the mother of a child in high school! Wasn't I just there myself? Ppstt* You are not dead. Parents deaths, child...

Student Nurse, prn. Saturday, August 27, 2005. Three days and counting. Until the fun begins *insert sarcasm here*- I mean classes of course. Oh joy. Text books, lectures, quizzes, tests, clinical, care plans, white uniforms. But alas, summer must end, and the shorter crisp days of fall will be upon us soon. Posted by SVN, prn at 5:33 PM. Tuesday, August 02, 2005. Stress and test anxiety. My primary instructor informed us on the first day of class that we should NOT expect to get all A's even if we had b...

Student Nurse, prn: September 2005
http://studentnurseprn.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Student Nurse, prn. Friday, September 30, 2005. What a great week in L&D! Score pad reads: 3 c-sections, 1 vaginal birth. Whoohooo* and 4 happy healthy Mom's with babies (2 boys and 2 girls- an even score for the population). Two of the c-sections were early AM and planned. The vaginal was planned and AWESOME to watch (4th baby girl for the Mom) and the last c-section although un-planned was a success (breach position prompted the last minute c-sect). Posted by SVN, prn at 3:54 PM. I'm a bad bad blogger.

Student Nurse, prn. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. The count down begins. After today we have exactly two weeks to our final exam in Med/Surg. It will be about 100 questions, multiple choice with a few short answer and a few 'fill-in-the-blanks'. The following day we have a 45 minute long clinical exam to be performed in front of a clinical instructor. Pardon the moment of sheer terror as we were given the details of the clinical exam today. Student Nurse, prn: July 2005
http://studentnurseprn.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Student Nurse, prn. Thursday, July 28, 2005. Lazy and HOT summer days (and nights). I should be reading. I am not. I did manage to get a couple of pleasure reading. Novels in during the first few weeks of summer vacation. In early July we received a list of the chapters associated to our syllabus so that we could 'get ahead' for the fall semester. Instant stress. I am all about 'getting ahead' but could we just have a bit more time where we truly didn't have to think about classes? Tuesday, July 12, 2005.
