Life wastes itself while we are preparing to live. If you had one week left to live, would you still be doing what you’re doing now? In what areas of your life are you preparing to live? Take them off your To Do list and add them to a To Stop list. Resolve to only do what makes you come alive. One thought on “ Come Alive. And with wo...

One Step From Yesterday
http://onestepfromyesterday.blogspot.com/2010/06/its-funny-how-sometimes-nights-can-be.html
One Step From Yesterday. I don't really understand the above title. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. It's funny how sometimes nights can be both great and terrible at the same time. It reminds me of an process optimization problem where the variables are at odds. The only way to optimize for variables at odds with each other is to make a value judgment. I suppose that's what they pay me for. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An Uninformative About Me. I'm not very englishy. Blogs I'm Always Reading.

One Step From Yesterday: August 2009
http://onestepfromyesterday.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
One Step From Yesterday. I don't really understand the above title. Wednesday, August 26, 2009. I didn't see you there. What is ramp theory? You've honestly never heard of ramp theory? I suppose me making it up is a mighty fair excuse. Pull up a chair and let me weave you an intricate tale of hypothesis and hyperbole. Will this take a while? Are you being punished? Will this theory involve graphs? No, not graphs, just one graph. Oh, you only had ten seconds to spare? Ok Some other time perhaps. Ok, based...

I Love the Rain...: March 2009
http://melissamjones.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 29, 2009. Seattle, Day 2 Part 2. After the Space Needle we took the monorail back over to our hotel. It was a small walk back to our hotel through Pike Place Market and the other shopping. After asking our hotel about where a good pasta place was we went to the pink door. This is a restaurant over in Pike Place Market that does not have a sign or anything indicating that it is a restaurant. It is just a pink door. The atmosphere was great and the food was good too. My Ring Has Three Diamonds: October 2009
http://myringhasthreediamonds.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
My Ring Has Three Diamonds. But you have to look closely to see all the facets. Monday, October 19, 2009. Time To Make Lemonade! It was a convenient thing too, because It meant I could pretend things were relatively normal for a while longer. But they were not. My dear wife was quite understandably concerned about me. But I kept reassuring her that I was fine, and just needed to adjust to my situation, just needed some time to my self. . . I'm supposed to be strong! After that I retreated even further in...

http://whyshesstillsingle.blogspot.com/2009/09/mormon-scale-of-attractiveness-addendum.html
Why I'm Still Single. Because, you know, people ask me this all the time. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. The Mormon Scale of Attractiveness, addendum. A reader emailed me with a link to the famous Mormon Scale of Attractiveness. Many of you will have seen this post before, but it's worth a re-read. So go read it and come back! I can't really touch such a perfect post. But I will add this—the longer a Mormon guy stays single, the further up he moves on the scale. Our relationship never got off the ground.
