http://eightmortons.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Special kids on RR! Ok, have to spotlight four special kids from Reece's Rainbow. Please look at these sweethearts and help find their forever families! Newly listed on RR! Let's find their families! Sticks and stones can break my bones. What kind of impression are they giving to everyone around them? The point is, it looks nice and fresh now, ready to have some grass seed planted, a firepit made. But we know what's under that. And it's not pretty. Monday, May 21, 2012. Got an old ...

Friday, July 27, 2012. Quick matching grant for the Rogers! Family is on their way to finally go meet Bernadette and Mason! There is a matching $450 grant opening up tonight for the Rogers! It will run through midnight, August 1st, so anything you can donate will be doubled. They still need about $3000 to be considered fully funded, and it would be so awesome to be able to tell them to relax, enjoy their new son and daughter, and not to worry about how they pay for the remainder of their expenses! I foun...

A Small Still Voice: March 2012
http://eightmortons.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. Dad has been making a huge pot of brunswick stew for over 30 years. It's an annual tradition that he and his brother both do. We used my uncle's pot this time since it's bigger than Dad's 25 gallon pot. Yes, they are serious about their stew! The rain stopped, the sun came out, and people start showing up to the yard sale! My wonderful mother in law (my second mom) made some cakes and cookies, and they were gone quick! Her lemon pound cake, oh my goodness! Friday, March 30, 2012.

Our Adoption Story: January 2012
http://findingourlittleone.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Back in April of last year I posted about how We're planning a trip to Holland. In reference to this poem by Emily Perl Kingsley:. By Emily Perl Kingsley. I am often asked to describe the experience of raising a child with a disability-to try to help people who have not shared that unique experience to understand it, to imagine how it would feel. It's like this. You say, "What do you mean "Holland"? I signed up for Italy! It's just a different place. It's slower paced than...

http://eightmortons.blogspot.com/2012/09/full-circle.html
Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Back in late February when I first saw Sam's picture and we started our adoption journey, I would never have dreamed the twists and turns that would happen. In case you haven't been following along, here's the Reader's Digest Condensed Version:. So now we were committed to both boys! But then we had the worst news possible. Sam's birthday was coming up, and our homestudy still wasn't finished. Tears and Prayers. And The Stokes family for Sam. We prayed constantly for them and ...

A Small Still Voice: My two favorite RR kids
http://eightmortons.blogspot.com/2012/10/my-two-favorite-rr-kids.html
Wednesday, October 3, 2012. My two favorite RR kids. Not long after I did this blog post (like within a couple of hours! Dayna showed up on My Family Found Me! So happy for her family! It takes a while for a child to show up on that part of the website, so that means her family has been working on this for probably a few weeks. I am just tickled to death, and if her family does a blog, I will be sure and link to it so we can all follow her journey home and help out with fundraisers! Spend their lives in ...
