This is about my experiences - educational, social, and professional - as a student at PennGSE. Monday, March 3, 2008. All I can say is WOW! I had such a moving experience at the Frida Kahlo exhibit this past weekend. The exhibit was celebrating the hundredth anniversary of the birth of this amazing Mexican artist. Frida was able to capture her entire life story through her art. Black and white photo of "The Two Fridas"). See You Around Campus! PS Frida Kahlo's unibrow was not that bad ;-). University of...

This is about my experiences - educational, social, and professional - as a student at PennGSE. Monday, February 18, 2008. I had an amazing time dancing the night away at Cuba Libre! This place is located in the old city section of Philadelphia. I highly recommend this place because it was free to get in and not that far away from GSE. As soon as you walk into the club you feel like you are actually in Cuba. Towards the middle of the night dancers perform spectacular dance numbers! This Is Me:) * *.

PennGSE Student Journals: The "T" and "P" Word

http://upenngsecarlak.blogspot.com/2008/03/t-and-p-word.html

This is about my experiences - educational, social, and professional - as a student at PennGSE. Monday, March 24, 2008. The "T" and "P" Word. Well, there seems to be two dreaded words buzzing around GSE. Those two words are Thesis and Portfolio. It is close to the end of some students programs and they are stressed out! I asked a couple of my friends how are you making out with the big "T" word. So far, a majority of them say."Carla don't even Say it! PS If only pressing the button were that easy;).

This is about my experiences - educational, social, and professional - as a student at PennGSE. Monday, April 7, 2008. I had an amazing time during Master's Preview Day! I had the privilege of meeting several students that were accepted into a masters program at GSE. I was able to participate in giving tours and answering any questions that perspective students had. It was nice to see so much diversity in the room. So far, so good :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This Is Me:) * *.

Wednesday, December 19, 2007. And so it is.the last day of the semester. After 70 classes attended, 80 pages written, and more than a hundred hours reading, we survived! Most of you reading this are contemplating pursuing a masters or doctorate degree at Penn GSE and its important to realize the type of commitment you are making, but also to understand that it is feasible and that even during times when you doubt how you survive, remember that many have done it before you, and you will make it out.
