You don't need another blog… but I do. We got lost a while back. Because MapQuest (God bless it) had told me get off at San Fernando Road. When I’d reviewed the directions the night before I felt a pit in my stomach, remembering the last time I had exited that road, almost five years prior. The chaplain had finally picked up Ana and maneuvered his way through the hellish freeways that criss-crossed the southland on this day when smoke. I envy Newhall Avenue. God allowed this to happen.
