Crafting Connections: June 2015
http://crafting-connections.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Powered by Penny Auctions. The Challenges of Writing on Demand. During my tenure as an ESL teacher, I have to admit that I dreaded the return to school after the holiday break. Besides having to brave the blustery Nebraska winter, all of our fourth graders had to take the state writing assessment at the end of January. In Nebraska, fourth graders always have to write a personal narrative, so we spent September through January focusing on this writing style. 1 What is your favorite season? The results wer...

Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Sorry this photo is blurry - it's from my phone. The better version is on my camera, which is in the other room, which I'm currently too lazy to get up and grab. So - this will have to do. :). First of all, the "31 weeks" thing is annoying to me.it's too many weeks to do the math of.but I feel like I'm supposed to say it that way because that's how I've always counted until a year old. Whatever. Lastly. Can we just discuss two posts in one week? Tooting my own horn here. Littl...

I remember walking into the hospital and seeing all the sweet newborn things - the bassinet, the warmer, the footprint stuff. I remember the nurses te...
