This is a handy place to put a logo. Ok, am gonna start off with saying I didn't climb the main drop. I'm not fond of heights but was passing this place the other night and couldnt resist. The pictures are not as good as they could, two reasons really. On the way up, i caught the tripod, smashing the head off and dropping it back to the ground. Made a hell of a noise, i kept still for a while after that making sure i wasn't seen! Anyway, here are a few pics.

Local Pool, Lytham St Annes. St Annes swimming pool is located on south promenade 200 meters from St.Annes pier, and only 5 minutes walk from the square. The pool is 25 meters long and 12.5 metres wide. The dept slopes gently from 0.9 metres in the shallow end to 2.1 metres in the deep end. The learner pool is 14 x 7 meters with an even depth of 0.7 metres.

This is a handy place to put a logo. Built as part of the County Aslyum network, Whittingham was Lancashires Asylum. Built to accomodate 2500 patients, it was one of the largest in Europe. It existed as a near enough self sufficient community. As it was expanded over the years, its population grew and peaked at over 3500 patients. Rather unique to Whittingham, it had its own railway line and station that linked it to nearby towns.
