The society shop offers a wide range of products at very reasonable prices: compost, fertilisers (organic and non), soil conditioners, bamboo canes, nets, etc. CAAS Committee members staff the shop between 11:00 and 13:00 every Sunday from March to September. The Committee has been overwhelmed by support for the great Cleveleys Chickens Initiative but a couple of issues have been raised in emails and the Committee has addressed them. Shade: they understand that a shady spot is ideal for chickens, as wild chickens are jungle birds.
