Savory to sweet…bacon jalapeño cornbread came about. my only precaution is to be careful chopping the jalapeños. honey butter not included in the recipe. take honey to taste with a stick of butter and whip.taste as you go. 1 ½ c yellow cornmeal. Frac12; c all purpose flour. 2 tsp baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 4 jalapeño chilies, chopped. 1 ½ c buttermilk. 2 eggs, beaten to blend. Makes 1 8x8 pan.
