Thursday, May 31, 2012. The Tooth Fairy Comes for a Visit. Carter lost his first "official" tooth several days ago. It had been loose for a while and then as he was biting trying to get the top off of something, it flew out. It was funny because Theo was home for lunch and said "Carter be careful, you're going to make your tooth fall out" and as soon as he said that, Carter spit and there was his tooth! Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Last week the house was packed up and loaded onto the moving truck. We left Northern Virginia with tears in our eyes (at least I did! But were beyond excited about heading to St. Louis to meet George Matthew. The trip went amazingly well. The girls both had their moments, but overall were great travelers. After an overnight stay in Kentucky, we arrived in St Louis ready hold our newest family member! A St Louis trip isn't complete without a trip Ted Drewes.

Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Out of the mouth of Kennedy. My Mom made a good point. I need to start writing. Down the funny things Kennedy says, so I thought why not share it with our friend and family. And then we will have it for our keeps. 1 Kennedy brings in a book that she had ripped. I asked her why she ripped her book, she said, "Me not rip it, Kenny did." Then she proceeds over to the hallway mirror and says, "Kenny not rip book, go to time out NOW and fold arms.". Definitely LOVE these nights!

Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Kennedy got a couple pairs of pink shoes for her birthday and she absolutely LOVES them! The first thing when she wakes up she goes to the front door to put on her PINK shoes. If you try and take them off she gets upset. Sometimes I have to hide them so she will wear other shoes because PINK doesn't always match everything! Okay okay. I know many of you are thinking this is cute. all I know is. Thursday, March 11, 2010. Kennedy new thing is, Dressing Up. Sunglasses, hats, shoes. anything and everything! She is growing up so fast. Every day I'm amazed at the new things she is learning and doing. Some of her favorite words are; thank you, please, bye, hi, hello, okay, juice, book. She also LOVES to brush her teeth! Now, she has to stand on the toilet seat, have the water running and spit into the sink! And don't turn off the water until she is done! Oh goodness. she is so hard headed!

Friday, May 6, 2011. We had a wonderful Easter this year. Jasmine was able to sleep over Saturday so the girls were able to wake up Easter morning together to find what the Easter Bunny left them. Jamia. Was awesome and did both of the girls hair so they could be twinners. After hunting for eggs in the morning we headed to church to watch the girls perform. A dance to an amazing song that reminded us of the true meaning of Easter. The children all did an awesome job! Of eggs and even more candy!

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Thank you Jeffy for the great seats at the Bee's game. We went to the Bee's game the Saturday before Mother's day and to our surprise it was a double header. We sat 2 nd. Row right by 3rd base. It probably helped that Marshall bought all sorts of treats, but she was so good. Of course we had to get her a ball and a bat and to our surprise she's actually really good at hitting the ball. I think we may even have a switch hitter on our hands! Here is just a couple pics of our night.
