The Daily Dish: A Byte from the Bechtold Life. From our sweet children and savory experiences, allow us to serve you up some tasty tidbits from our life. Monday, March 3, 2008. Jason was feeling creative Saturday night and did a "photoshoot" before the kids went to bed. He was playing around with lighting and the pictures turned out amazing! I love them because they're so raw. They look professional - what do you think? I think this is my favorite photo of Emma and I now. Y the only one he tried. Such a ...

He allowed the semi to be there at just the right moment! The first thing Emma said after we pulled over was "Is our car broken now? Then, as the tow truck driver came to help me shift some stuff around the car before he towed it (I was trying to move the kids clothes so that they would be somewhat protected from rain pouring ...

Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Too cold to play outside, so we are finding things to do to stay busy. While the Narnia audiobooks are on in our background constantly, we are hanging out in this tiny house together. Here are a few peeks into our days. Spirograph is always good for a few days in a row of morning-to-night hunching on the floor. They are both getting really artistic with their patterns. Even though the audio books are on constant repeat (we are nearly through the series for the second time), ...

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Pink Blossoms in Fall. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Monday was our day. Perfect weather and friends who got back in town just in time to join us. Plus Bryce's family was there too! Here's a bit of what happened over the course of five hours together (and apart). Or at least get your legs ready for a 3 hour workout. After a long separation, the corn box brought everyone together for a cooling-off resting time. And that's where we found Bryce's family. Chloe held her own on this...

Thursday, March 12, 2015. Sledding and the Great Melt. When we heard the that the weather forecast included a stretch of temperatures above freezing, Todd took the kids sledding. They started out at Asbury Park and then drove to Frontier instead. Todd said the wind was so chilly he opted not to take more photos at the second stop. He did take a video though. (Find it here. It's a really good thing they went the day they did, because the weathermen were right! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Busy Life...

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. I know they will be friends forever. They love to do everything together, from cramming in front of a window for hours to watch the neighbor's yard get dug up to all their made-up games (like the one above featuring Cube-ee Rapunzel and storm troopers), I can't imagine a better relationship. Monday, March 30, 2015. Dad on Quick Sand Hill. The last time Todd went on an off-road adventure, he brought back videos. The kids, especially Evan, really liked watching it all. There were so many big built-up Jeeps and Todd's was pretty much the smallest one there. But he did great and the other guys were amazingly helpful. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
