Musings on Nature (and other things): Banding Burrowing Owls
http://musingsonnature.blogspot.com/2012/07/banding-burrowing-owls.html
Musings on Nature (and other things). When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world." John Muir (Misquoted). Wednesday, July 25, 2012. But did you know not all owls nest above ground, nor are all owls nocturnal? And they aren't very big. One birder compared them to the size of a pop can, which is pretty accurate. Receiving a leg band.

The smile of an innocent infant can light up the world like nothing else. I am so blessed. Often you hear the phrase: "I can't even remember what it was like without him!
